of said road, and being in excess of the contribution made by
gaid citizens to said construction fund.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said County
Commissioners of Montgomery County are hereby authorized
and empowered to levy on and collect from the taxable prop-
erty of the 1st, 9th, 8th and 4th Election Districts, of said
County, a special tax in the year Nineteen Hundred and
Eighteen sufficient to repay said indebtedness with interest and
said levy and collection of said tax shall be made on the sev-
eral Election Districts mentioned above in the following pro-
portions, viz: six per centum of said levy on the 1st Election
District, six per centum on the 9th Election District, fifty-
eight per centum on the 8th Election District, and thirty per
centum on the 4th Election District; said tax to be collected
as other taxes levied in said County are collected, and when
collected shall be applied, as hereinbefore provided, to the pay-
ment and cancellation of said indebtedness, with all interest
accrued upon the same.

CHAPTER 359.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commission-
ers of Montgomery County to levy a special tax on the tax-
able property of the Seventh Election District of said County
to repay an indebtedness due to the general funds of said
County as contracted by the Board of County Commission-
ersr of said County in the construction, building and improve-
ment of the public road known as the Cohasset—District
Line Road, in said County, and the public road known as
the Woodmont—Glen Echo Road, in said County.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Montgom-
ery County were required to construct, build and improve the
said Cohasset—District Line Road in said County, by special
Election held in the Seventh Election District of said County
under the Public Local Laws of said County, and in order to
complete the said road were required to borrow from the gen-
eral funds of said County the additional sum of four thousand
and fifteen dollars and eighty-seven cents ($4,015.87) ; and
WHEREAS, the said County Commissioners were required to
borrow the further additional sum of three thousand three hun-
