CHAPTER 341.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 210
of Melvin's Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County, sub-title "Fish, Crabs and Terrapins."

CHAPTER 342.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 212
of Melvin's Code of Public Local Laws for Anne Arundel
County, sub-title "Fish, Crabs and Terrapins."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted Ity the General Assembly of Mary-
land,, That Section 212 of Melvin's Code of Public Local
Laws for Anne Arundel County, sub-title "Fish, Crabs and
Terrapins," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments so as to read as follows:

Section 212. It shall not be lawful for any person or cor-
poration to set, place or construct or use in the waters of
South River, in said County, or in any, creek, cove or inlet
thereof above Saunders Point on the south side and Marsh
Point on the north side any pound net or other similar device,
nor shall it be lawful for any person or corporation to put,
place, set, construct or use in any creek, cove, tributary or
inlet of South River any fyke net or other stationary net or
trap not including, however, gill nets, nor to put, place, set,
construct or use any seine, drag net, trap, gill net, or any
device whatsoever for the catching of fish during the months
of February, March and April in the head waters of South
River from a line drawn from Howards Point on the west side
of said river to Briar Bottom on the east side thereof, and in
the head waters of Beards Creek from a line drawn from Hol-
lidays Point on the north side thereof to Sparrows Landing
on the south side thereof, and in the head waters of Broad
Creek from a line drawn from Marsh Haul Branch on the
north side thereof and Big Rock Haul Point on the south side
thereof, nor in the head-waters of any of the creeks of South
River for a distance of four hundred yards from the head
thereof. And any person or corporation violating the provi-

sions of this Section shall, upon conviction thereof before any
Justice of" the Peace of said County, Be fined not less than
