CHAPTER 343.
AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land to construct and maintain as a past of the State Roads
System a highway over the present public road from Owens-
ville to Quaker Burying Ground, in the First Election Dis-
trict of Anne Arundel County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the State Roads Commission of Maryland be, and
it is, hereby authorized and directed to construct and maintain
as a part of the State Roads System of Maryland a highway
over the public road leading from Owensville to Quaker Bury-
ing Ground, covering a distance of six miles, in the First
Election District of Anne Arundel County, said work of con-
struction to be begun as soon as practicable after this Act goes
into effect

CHAPTER 344.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 172
of Article 53 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Li-
censes," sub-title "Junk Dealers," as said section was en-
acted by Chapter 704 of the Acts of 1916, decreasing the
license fee of junk dealers in Baltimore City from $250 to
$100.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 172 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, title "Licenses," sub-title "Junk Dealers," as said
section was enacted by Chapter 704 of the Acts of 1916, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:
172. Each person, firm or corporation dealing in junk
within this State shall pay for the privilege of conducting such
business by first taking out an annual license therefor, for each
place of business and paying the following license fee, viz.:
