County and re-enact the same with amendments thereto,,
and to add an additional section thereto applicable only to
Allegany County to be known as Section 29, providing for
and enlarging the inspector's powers and providing an addi-
tional penalty.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County,"
sub-title "Frostburg," to follow Section 144, and to be
known as 144A.

CHAPTER 334.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 93
and Section 96 of the Revised Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore County of 1915 as compiled by T. Scott Offutt.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 93 and Section 96 of the Revised Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore County as compiled by T.
Scott Offutt be repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as
to read as follows:

Section 93. The,Circuit Court for Baltimore County be
and it is hereby authorized to employ a court stenographer,
who shall be a sworn officer of the Court, and such stenographer
so appointed shall receive a salary of fifteen hundred dollars
per annum to be paid in regular monthly installments as the
bailiffs of said Court are now paid.

Section 96. And said Court is further authorized and em-
powered to appoint extra or additional stenographers, not ex-
ceeding two in number, who shall be sworn officers of said
Court, having the qualifications provided in Section 52B of
this Article and who may be removed at the pleasure of said
Court, and who shall receive for each day they shall be re-
quired by said Court to attend said Court for the taking of
testimony and judicial opinions in said court the sum of
twelve dollars per day, and shall furnish copies and carbon
copies of testimony and opinions so taken in the same man-
