CHAPTER 165.
AN ACT to repeal Section 347 of Chapter 790 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1912, and to re-enact
the same with amendments; providing for the time and man-
ner of holding the municipal election in the Town of Ken-
sington, Montgomery County, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 347 of Chapter 790 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1912 be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows:
SEC. 347. They shall annually, on or before the first Mon-
day in April, appoint three judges of election, who shall ap-
point a clerk, and the said judges shall conduct an election by
ballot, in accordance with the provisions of Section 344 of this
Act; the polls to be opened at six o'clock, P. M., and closed at
nine o'clock P. M., and the judges and clerk shall make their
returns to the council, but said judges and. clerk shall receive
no compensation for their services. Not more than two of said
judges of election shall be of the same political party.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public safety, and shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 480
of the Acts of 1912, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Section 1 of Chapter 6 of the Acts
of 1908, entitled 'An Act for the, further protection of
pheasants, partridges or quail, woodcock, wild turkey and
rabbit in Garrett County. ' "
