WHEREAS, Oscar G. Murray, deceased, by his Will, dated
March 31, 1914, and duly probated in the Orphans Court of
Baltimore City, bequeathed to his executors the residue of his
estate in trust to transfer the same to the " Oscar G. Murray
Railroad Employes Benefit Fund, " a corporation to be formed
for the uses and purposes expressed in said Will, and directed
his executors, immediately after his death, to cause to be incor-
porated under the laws of the State of Maryland a charitable
corporation to be known as the '' Oscar G. Murray Railroad Em-
ployes Benefit Fund, " for the relief and assistance of needy
widows and orphans of employes of The Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad Company who have died in the service of that com-
pany. Now, therefore, for the purpose of incorporating a
charitable corporation to receive, hold and use the property so
bequeathed for said purposes;

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Daniel Willard, John Gardiner Murray, Frank J.
Goodnow, George H. Campbell, George M. Shriver, George F.
Randolph and Herbert R. Preston, all of whom are citizens and
residents of the State of Maryland, and their successors in
office, be and they are hereby created a corporation under and
by the name of the '' Oscar G. Murray Railroad Employes Bene-
fit Fund, " and by that name shall have perpetual succession,
and be capable to sue and be sued, to complain and defend in any
court of law or equity; to make and to adopt a constitution and
by-laws for its government and amend the same at will; to make
and use a common seal; and shall have power to acquire by
purchase, gift, devise, or legacy, any real or leasehold estate or
personal property, and to hold, own, use, sell, lease or dispose
of the same at its pleasure; and generally to do all and singular
such matters and things as may be necessary to carry out its
objects and purposes, and to exercise the powers and privileges
by this Act conferred upon it.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the objects of said
corporation are:

To provide for the relief and assistance of needy widows and
orphans of employes of The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Com-
pany, who have died in the service of that company, by the es-
tablishment of a home for such widows and orphans or by aid-
ing them in their own homes, or aiding them in any other ways
which the Trustees of said corporation may from time to time
deem best suited to promote their welfare, preference being
