EMERSON C. HARRINGTON, GOVERNOR. 21

CHAPTER 16.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 212
of the Code of Local Laws of Prince George's County, Mary-
land, title "County Treasurer" and relating to the office
hours of said Treasurer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 212 of the Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, as the same were codified, be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:

212. The Treasurer shall keep his office open in the Court
House at Upper Marlboro, in said County from ten o'clock
A. M. until three o'clock P. M. each day, Sundays and legal
holidays excepted, for the purpose of discharging the duties
of his office.

Approved March 22nd, 1918.

CHAPTER 17.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
101-C of Chapter 496 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1894.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 101-C of Chapter 496 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1894, be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

101-C. The County Commissioners of said County shall
have power to levy annually a sum sufficient to pay said person
or persons that may be appointed as hereinbefore provided,
and all proper expenses, provided that no person appointed
shall be paid over Sixty Dollars per month in the discretion
of the County Commissioners.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from June 1st, 1918.
