house, and such other proper officers and servants as they may
deem necessary, and the said trustees shall pay said overseer,
other proper officers and servants such compensation as they
in their judgment may deem proper and adequate.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from June first, nineteen hundred and eighteen.

CHAPTER 61.
AN ACT to repeal Section 228 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Garrett County, "
sub-title "Wild Animals, " as the same was repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter 679 of the Acts of 1914 and by Chapter
13 of the Acts of 1916.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 228 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Garrett County, " sub-
title "Wild Animals, " as the same was repealed and re-enacted
by Chapter 679 of the Acts of 1914 and by Chapter 13 of the
Acts of 1916, be and the same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 62.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 77
of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of
Maryland, entitled "Talbot County", sub-title "Easton", as
enacted by Chapter 458 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1906.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 77 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Talbot County", sub-
title "Easton", as enacted by chapter 458 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1906, be, and the same is,
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
77. He shall, before he enters upon the duties of his office,
take before the Mayor the oath hereinafter provided for, and
also execute a bond to the State of Maryland in the penalty
