than three hundred dollars per annum; one such officer for the
Second Election District, with a salary of not less than one
hundred and twenty-five dollars per annum; one such officer
for the Third Election District, with a salary of not less than
three hundred dollars per annum; one such officer for the
Fourth Election District, with a salary of not less than one
hundred and fifty dollars per annum; one such officer for the
Fifth Election District, with a salary of not less than one hun-
dred and twenty-five dollars per annum; one such officer for the
Sixth Election District, with a salary of not less than one hun-
dred and twenty-five dollars per annum; one such officer for the
Seventh Election District, with a salary of not less than one
hundred and twenty-five dollars per annum; one such officer for
the Eighth Election District, with a salary of not less than two
hundred and fifty dollars per annum; one such officer for the
Ninth Election District, with a salary of not less than three
hundred dollars per annum; one such officer for the Tenth
Election District, with a salary of not less thant one hundred
and twenty-five dollars per annum; one such officer for the
Eleventh Election District, with a salary of not less than two
hundred dollars per annum; one such officer for the Twelfth
Election District, with a salary of not less than three hundred
dollars per annum; one such officer for the Thirteenth Election
District, with a salary of not less than two hundred and fifty
dollars per annum; one such officer for the Fourteenth Elec-
tion District, with a salary of not less than two hundred dol-
lars per annum; one such officer for the Fifteenth Election Dis-
trict with a salary of not less than two hundred and fifty dol-
lars per annum; all of the said salaries to be payable quarterly.
The County Commissioners may select one of the district health
officers to be county health officer, in which case he shall not
receive the additional compensation provided for him as dis-
trict health officer. The said district health officer shall hold
office for two years from the date of their appointment, unless
sooner removed for cause by said County Commissioners.
123. The county health officer and the district health officer
so appointed shall within ten days of the date of their appoint-
ment, meet in Towson, and shall organize a board of sanitary
officers for Baltimore county. The county health officer shall
be ex officio president and executive officer of the board. They
shall meet quarterly in Towson on such days in February, May,
August and November as may be designated by the County
Commissioners. The district health officers shall in their re-
spective district exercise all the powers and perform all the
duties which have been, or which shall hereafter be prescribed
by the Public General Laws of Maryland for secretaries of local
