proved by said commissioners, in the sum of seventy-five thou-
sand dollars, conditioned for the faithful execution of the
trust reposed in him, which bond shall be filed in the office of
the clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore county, and re-
corded among the public records of Baltimore county, and the
cost of said bond to be paid out of the funds made available
by this Act, a certified copy of which shall be received as evi-
dence in any court of law or equity in this State; and the said
Board of Commissioners appointed by this Act shall have
power to fill any vacancy occuring by death, resignation or
refusal to act, or other disqualification of the person so ap-
pointed as treasurer, and the person appointed to fill such
vacancy shall give bond as hereinbefore required; said board
shall also have power to sue in any of the courts of this State
in any matter connected with their duties under this Act. The
County Commissioners of Baltimore County shall alone be re-
sponsible upon all causes of action which may arise out of the
making the improvements provided for by this Act, and all
suits of every character shall be brought against.it and not
against the Commissioners created by this Act or the members
thereof.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That in case of the death, resig-
nation or refusal to act of either of the said Commissioners
appointed by this Act, the other Commissioners shall have full
power to fill such vacancy or vacancies.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That said Commissioners shall
receive no compensation for their services whilst engaged in
contracting for and superintending the construction and fur-
nishing said building. Their actual expenses, however, shall be
allowed; the said treasurer shall receive such compensation as
the said Commissioners appointed by this Act shall consider
proper and right.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the
Commissioners appointed by this Act, whenever and as often
as they shall be required by the County Commissioners of Bal-
timore County, to render an account of their expenditures and
make a full report to said County Commissioners of all their
proceedings in the premises.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
