SEC. 2. And be it enacted., That the Treasurer of the State,
on warrant of the Comptroller, shall disburse the said sum or
sums of money herein appropriated for the objects and pur-
poses herein specified, to or upon the order of the person or per-
sons or body politic or corporate, entitled to receive the same.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and after the first day of October, nineteen hundred and
nine.
Approved April 8, 1908.
Approved with the exception of the several items disap-
proved as appears in the disapprovals of the said items hereto
annexed.
The provisions and items of the above Act to wit: Chapter
254 entitled "An Act making appropriations for the support of
the State Government for the fiscal year ending on the 30th day
of September, 1910, " are hereby approved with the exception of
the following provisions and items contained in said Act which
are hereby severally disapproved, to wit:
On page 12 of the enrolled Act under the caption "Reforma-
tory and Other Institutions, " the item "together with the
further sum of $12, 500 for buildings" for the Maryland School
for Boys is hereby disapproved.
On pages 12 and 13 of the enrolled Act under the caption
"Reformatory and Other Institutions, " the item "together with
the further sum of $10, 000 for improvements" for the Mary-
land School for the Blind is hereby disapproved.
On page 13 of the enrolled Act under the caption "Reforma-
tory and Other Institutions, " the item "and $37, 500 to. complete
the railroad to said institution, " said institution being the
Springfield State Hospital for the Insane, is hereby disap-
proved.
On page 17 of the enrolled Act under the caption "Miscellan-
eous, " the item "for repairs, furnishing and so forth to the Exec-
utive Mansion the sum of $10, 000, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, " is hereby disapproved.

AN ACT appropriating the sum of ten thousand dollars for
printing the record, paying the costs and for other expenses
incurred in the case of the State of Maryland versus the State
of West Virginia now pending in the Supreme Court of the
