PRIVATE ACTS. 1387

($5,000) dollars or more for each fiscal year, as herein men-
tioned shall present to the Comptroller satisfactory evidence
that said hospital has been prepared at all times to receive
twenty-seven free patients with maintenance and treatment for
each fiscal year.

Approved April 8, 1908.

Approved with the exceptions of the several items disap-
proved as appears in the disapprovals of the said several items
hereunto annexed.

The provisions and items of the above Act, to wit: Chapter
255, entitled "An Act to appropriate certain sums of money to
the support of sundry schools and charitable institutions in the
State of Maryland for each of the two fiscal years ending on the
thirtieth day of September, 1909, and on the thirtieth day of
September, 1910, respectively," are hereby approved with the
exception of the following provisions and items contained in
said Act which are hereby severally disapproved, to wit:

In provision 40, on page 7 of the enrolled Act, the item and
appropriation "and the like sum of $3,000 for the fiscal year
1910," is hereby disapproved.

In provision 43, on page 8 of the enrolled Act, both items
"The Upper Marlboro Academy, the sum of f500 for the fiscal
year 1909, and the like sum of $500 for the fiscal year 1910,"
are hereby disapproved.

In provision 47, on page 9 of the enrolled Act, both items to
"New Windsor College of Carroll County, the sum of $500 for
the fiscal year 1909, and the like sum of $500 for the fiscal
year 1910," are hereby disapproved.

In provision 71, on page 13 of the enrolled Act, the item "to-
gether with the further sum of $1,500 for buildings for the year
1909," is hereby disapproved, and the item, "together with the
further sum of $1,500 for buildings for the year 1910" is hereby
-disapproved, and the other remaining items in said provision 71
are approved, to be used in accordance with the provisions of
chapter 321 of the Acts of 1908 as set forth in said provision
number 71.

In provision 72, on page 14 of the enrolled Act, the items "a
further sum of $2,000 for buildings for 1909, and a like sum for
1910" are hereby disapproved.

In provision 82, on page 15 of the enrolled Act, the item "and
the like sum of $16,000 for the fiscal year 1910" is hereby disap-
proved.

In provision 83, on page 16 of the enrolled Act, the item
"the sum of $5,000 for repairs" for the fiscal year 1910 is hereby
disapproved.
