PRIVATE ACTS. 1371

Treasurer of this State, upon a warrant of the Comptroller, as
other teachers on said "Teachers' Retired List" are paid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 729.

AN ACT directing and authorizing the County Commissioners

of Washington county to refund to Margaret J. P. McDonald

taxes erroneously paid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Washington county
are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to pay to Mar-
garet J. P. McDonald the sum of thirteen dollars and five cents,
taxes erroneously paid by her to said Commissioners.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 735.

AN ACT to authorize and sanction the acquisition by the Con-

cordia Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Baltimore

City, of a lot of ground in Baltimore city.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland be and the same are hereby declared given and
granted to the acquisition by the Concordia Evangelical Luth-
eran Congregation of Baltimore City, from William T. Schind-
ler and wife of the title in fee simple to a lot of ground situate
in Baltimore city on the north side of Franklin street, begin-
ning twenty-five feet west of Arlington avenue, running west-
erly on Franklin street sixteen feet with an even depth of fifty-
five feet, and to the holding, sale, mortgaging, leasing or other-
wise disposing of the same.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 736.

AN ACT to amend the charter or certificate of incorporation
of the Bryn Mawr School for Girls of Baltimore City so as
to make its corporate existence perpetual.
