PRIVATE ACTS. 1369

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the sale, grant, conveyance of a certain lot of land
containing sixty-two square perches of land situated in Fred-
erick county, Maryland, by John C. Lowe and others, trustees,
to Walter J. Fossett, W. K. Loud, Frank Thomas and Thomas
Dorsey, trustees, and their successors, in trust for the use and
benefit of the ministers and membership of the Methodist Epis-
copal Church of New London, upon the New Market Circuit of
the Washington Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church
of the United States, by deed dated February 15, A. D. 1908,
and recorded February 29, A. D. 1908, among the Land Records
of Frederick county, Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6, 1908.

CHAPTER 717.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Washington county to refund to Mary C. Bohrer and New-
ton Kline, administrators of George W. Bohrer, deceased, a
sum of money erroneously paid as taxes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County .Commissioners of Washington county be
and they are hereby authorized and empoweerd to levy an
amount of taxes sufficient to refund and pay unto Mary C.
Bohrer and Newton Kline, the administrators of George W.
Bohrer, late of Washington county, Maryland, deceased, the
sum of twenty dollars and twenty-eight .cents ($20.28), erro-
neously paid by the said administrators to the tax collector of
Washington county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6, 1908.

CHAPTER T25.

AN ACT giving the leave and sanction of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland to the acquisition of the fee simple interest
in a piece of ground in Baltimore county by "The Trustees
of Govanstown Methodist Episcopal Church of Govanstown,
