1368 LAWS OF MARYLAND.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Police Commissioners of Baltimore city be and
they are hereby authorized to pay Margaret C. Clayton, widow
of Elmore S. Clayton, a former policeman of the police force
of Baltimore city, out of the funds in their possession, or
subject to their control, a weekly pension of f 10.00, during her
life time, payable on the last day of each week.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 702.
AN ACT to change the name and ratify and confirm the pow-
ers and privileges of the "Fidelity Loan and Trust Company,"
a corporation duly incorporated by chapter 422 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
session of 1906.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
name of the "Fidelity Loan and Trust Company," a corporation
heretofore incorporated by chapter 422 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January session of
1906, be and the same is hereby changed to the "Peninsular Loan
and Deposit Bank," and by such last mentioned name said cor-
poration shall be known, and shall have and possess all the
powers and privileges granted in said chapter 422 of the Acts
of 1906, which are hereby ratified and confirmed to it by this
Act; and by the name of the "Peninsular Loan and Deposit
Bank" it shall have the right to organize under the provisions
of chapter 422 of the Acts of 1906.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 706.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the sale, grant and conveyance of
certain lands lying in Frederick county, Maryland, made by
John C. Lowe and others, trustees, to Walter J. Fossett
and others, trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church of
New London in said county, by deed dated February 15,
A. D, 1908, and; recorded February 29, A. D. 1908, among the
Land Records of Frederick county.
