PRIVATE ACTS. 13G7

SEC. 2. And be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following two additional sections be added to
chapter 727 of the Acts of 1900 of the General Assembly of
Maryland, incorporating The Mercantile Bank of Baltimore,
and to be known as section 2A and section 2u, respectively.

SEC. 2A. Anil be it enacted, That the affairs of said corpora-
tion shall be managed by not more than eighteen or not less
than five directors.

SEC. 2B. And be it enacted. That said corporation shall have
the power to receive money on deposit for savings accounts or
otherwise, on such terms as may be agreed upon; to own and
control, and to let out burglar vaults, safes, safe deposit boxes
and other receptacles which may be or become necessary for
the uses and purposes of the corporation.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 698.

AN ACT to refund to Wm. B. Cutshall, Register of Wills of
Frederick county, the sum of money erroneously paid by
him to the Comptroller of the State of Maryland.
Whereas Wm. B. Cutshall, Register of Wills for Frederick
county, did erroneously pay to the Comptroller of the State of
Maryland, as the register's report to the Comptroller will show.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the State
Treasury in favor of Wm. B. Cutshall, Register of Wills for
Frederick county, for the sum of forty dollars and fifty-nine
cents ($40.59), being the amount erroneously paid by him
as Register of Wills to the Comptroller of the said State of
Maryland during the year 1907.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 6, 1908.

CHAPTER 700.

AN ACT authorizing the Police Commissioners of Baltimore
city to pay to Margaret C. Clayton, widow of Elmore S.
Clayton, deceased, a former policeman of the police force of

Baltimore city, a pension of $10.00 per week.
