1350 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

March 9, 1006, and recorded among the Land Records of Bal-
timore city in Liber R. O., No. 2224, folio 142, etc.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sanction and consent of
the General Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby
given, granted and declared to the acquisition by the several
religious denominations or sects, orders or corporations here-
inbefore in this Act mentioned or named, at any time hereafter,
whether by gift, grant or otherwise, of the fee simple title to
the lots or parcels of land aforementioned in which they are
respectively entitled to a leasehold interest, or less than a fee
simple title, by virtue of the several deeds, gifts, grants, be-
quests or devises aforementioned, and by virtue of the sanction
hereinbefore by the first section of this Act, and to the holding,
sale, mortgaging, leasing or otherwise disposing of the same.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 640.
AN ACT to refund to Samuel A. Langrall money paid by him

to Col. R. J. Collins for fines for having in possession un-

culled oysters.

Whereas Samuel A. Langrall, of the schooner Win. H. Kirk-
wood, paid to Col. R. J. Collins on or about the twenty-third
day of December, 1906, the sum of twenty-seven dollars fine
for having on board said schooner unculled oysters, and again
for the same offense paid to Peter Tilghman, at Crisfield, the
sum of twenty-seven dollars ($27.00).

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treas-
ury of the State in favor of Samuel A. Langrall, of Wicomico
county, Maryland, for the sum of twenty-seven (27.00) dol-
lars, the same being the amount paid to Col. R. J. Collins on
or about the twenty-third of December, 1906, aforesaid. The
sum to be paid out of any money in the Treasury not other-
wise appropriated.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
