CHAPTER 631.
AN ACT to authorize the State Board of Education to pay to
David U. Schildtknecht the pension provided for in and by
section 53A of chapter 584 of the Acts of 1904, for teachers
who have served the State for 25 years.
Whereas David U. Schildtknecht, a citizen of this State, was
for thirty-three years engaged in teaching in the public schools
of this State, and during the time of such service became physic-
ally disabled while in the service of the State, engaged in teach-
ing as aforesaid; and
Whereas the said David U. Schildtknecht is now incapaci-
tated' for general work by reason of paralysis, and is fifty-six
years of age, and without income and means of earning a liveli-
hood, helpless and dependent; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the State Board of Education be and they are here-
by authorized to place the name of David U. Schildtknecht, a
citizen of Frederick county, Maryland, on the "Retired List,"
provided for in section 53A of chapter 584 of the Acts of 1904
of the General Assembly of Maryland, and that the Comptroller
of the Treasury pay to the said David U. Schildtknecht the pen-
sion provided for in said section of said Act.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

CHAPTER 637.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and devises
contained in the last wills and testaments of certain persons
late of the State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain
gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various persons
in this State to and for the use and benefit of sundry minis-
terial persons, religious denominations, corporations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, sales,
leases and deeds, to and for the use and benefit of certain minis-
terial persons, religions corporations, denominations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions as herein set forth: 1. To
