grade at any point between Scott street in the city of Balti-
more, and Clifford Junction, in Baltimore county, without the
consent in writing of the said Baltimore Terminal Company, its
successors and assigns.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 611.
AN ACT conferring additional powers upon the directors of
the Washington, Frederick and Gettysburg Railway Com-
pany, authorizing them to locate a route and construct a
line of railway north from Lewistown, in Frederick county,
Maryland, to the Pennsylvania line via Rocky Ridge, in said
county, or by any other route they think most available, as a
part of said railroad line, and conferring on said route all
the powers, franchises, rights, exemptive privileges, duties
and obligations provided in the original charter of said com-
pany, and the amendments thereto, and to consolidate or
connect with such other road or roads as may be now in ex-
istence or may be built hereafter, and to extend the time for
the construction of said road.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, That said company shall have
power to lay out, construct, equip and operate as a part of its
line a railroad impelled by electricity, steam or other power as
the directors may determine, from Lewiston, in Frederick
county, to the Pennsylvania line, via Rocky Ridge, in said
county or any other route the board of directors think most
available, hereby conferring on said route or line all the
powers, franchises, rights, privileges, exemption duties and
obligations conferred by the Acts of 1898, chapter 614, the Acts
of 1900, chapter 634, and the Acts 1906, chapter 620.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said railway company
shall have power to make traffic agreements, consolidate or con-
nect with such other roads as may be now in existence or may
be hereafter constructed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the time for the completion
of said railway shall be extended for a period of ten years
from the date of the passage of this Act, and the failure to con-
struct the whole of said railway or the route fixed in the origi-
nal charter within the time limited shall not operate to effect
the charter, rights, franchises, privileges, duties and obligations
of the part or parts so constructed within the time limit.
