1304 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 473.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to certain deed made by persons in
the State of Maryland to the Convention of the Protestant
Episcopal Church of the Diocese of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland be and the same is hereby declared, given and
granted to the following deed to the Convention of the Protes-
tant Episcopal Church of the Diocese of Maryland: to the deed
from James W. Harvey and wife, dated seventh August, 1902,
and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore city in
Liber R. O., No. 1972, folio 84, etc.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sanction and consent of
the General Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby
giveii, granted and declared to the acquisition by the said
Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Diocese
of Maryland of the property conveyed by said deed and the
holding, selling, mortgaging or otherwise disposing of the
same.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 482.

AN ACT to adopt Eva Lee Henry as the daughter of Charles
T. Picking and Carrie Picking, his wife.

Whereas the said Charles T. Picking and Carrie Picking,
his wife, are desirous that the said Eva Lee Henry shall at
their death have the right to inherit from their estate; therefor,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Eva Lee Henry be and she is hereby adopted as the
daughter of Charles T. Picking and Carrie Picking, his wife,
of Frederick, Frederick county, State of Maryland, and as
such adopted daughter shall have the same rights of inheri-
tance and distribution as to the estate of the said Charles T.
Picking and Carrie Picking, his wife, as. if born to the said
