PRIVATE ACTS. 1303
Treasury of Maryland for license to dredge for oysters with
the schooner William Eurich, which said license has never
been used.
Whereas Oliver C. Tawes and James E. Dougherty, on the
eighth day of October, 1907, procured license number 139 from
the Comptroller of the Treasury, for the schooner William
Eurich, and three hands, to dredge for oysters during the
season beginning November 1, 1907, and ending March 15,
1908, paying therefor to said Comptroller the sum of forty-
seven dollars and twenty-five cents ($47.25) ; and
Whereas on account of sickness in the family of the master
of said vessel, the said vessel has not been used in dredging
for oysters and said license has not been used at all, and could
not be used on account of the sickness aforesaid.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treas-
urer of the State in favor of Oliver C. Tawes and James E.
Dougherty for the sum of forty-seven dollars and twenty-five
cents ($47.25), the same being the amount of money paid by
them as aforesaid for said license, which license, on account
of sickness in the family of the master of said vessel, could
not be and has never been used, out of any money in the Treas-
ury not otherwise appropriated.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 471.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the devise as contained in the last
will and testament of Mrs. Mary Grant Small to the Balti-
more Orphan Asylum, located at this time on Stricker street,
in the city of Baltimore, of the sum of three thousand dol-
lars.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby given and granted to
the devise as contained in the last will and testament of Mrs.
Mary Grant Small to the Baltimore Orphan Asylum, located at
this time on Stricker street, in the city of Baltimore, of the
sum of three thousand dollars.
