a sum of money t6 the use of Jennie Hanson, paid by the
said Jennie Hanson into the treasury of Charles county in
error.

SECTION 3. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Charles county be
and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
levy at their next annual levy the sum of nineteen dollars and
sixty-one cents ($19.61), to the use of Jennie Hanson, paid by
the said Jennie Hanson into the treasury of Charles county in
error.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 295.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and devises
contained in the last wills and testaments of certain persons
late of the State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain
gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various per-
sons in this State, to and for the use and benefit of sundry
ministerial persons, religious denominations, corporations
or sects, and to certain charitable institutions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General 'Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, sales,
leases and deeds, to and for the use and benefit of certain min-
isterial persons, religious corporations, denominations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions as herein set forth: (1)
To a deed from Francis H. Shallus and Isabella Shallus, his
wife, to the Savior's Mission of .Baltiomre City, a body corpor-
ate, incorporated under and by virtue of the laws of the State
of Maryland, of a certain lot of ground situated on the south
side of Oliver street, at the distance of two hundred and twenty-
nine feet easterly .from the southeast corner of Oliver street
and Broadway, Baltimore city, described more fully in said
deed, which is recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore
city in Liber J. B. 1587, folio 499, etc.

2. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland
be and the same is hereby declared given and granted to the
deed made by the First Spiritual Church of Baltimore, a body
