CHAPTER 263.
AN ACT to refund The Millington Building and Loan Asso-
ciation of Kent County, Maryland, a corporation, a sura of
money erroneously paid by it into the State Treasury.
Whereas the said The Millington Building and Loan Associa-
tion of Kent County, Maryland, was erroneously assessed for
the year 1905 upon property in Kent county exempt by law, and
did pay into the State Treasury as taxes upon said property
the sum of twenty-two dollars and eighty-eight cents.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury is hereby author-
ized and directed to draw his warrant in favor of The Milling-
ton Building and Loan Association of Kent County, Maryland,
for the sum of twenty-two dollars and eighty-eight cents, the
amount of State taxes erroneously paid by it for the year 1905,
the repayment of same having received the recommendation of
the Treasury officials.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Commis-
sioners of Kent county are hereby authorized and directed to
pay to the said The Milliugton Building and Loan Association
of Kent County, Maryland, the sum of one hundred and five
dollars and seventy-three cents, being the amount of county
taxes paid by it for the year 1905 on the said property so erron-
eously assessed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 271.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Consolidated Gas, Electric
Light and Power Company of Baltimore by authorizing said
company to fix number of its directors by a by-law to be
adopted by said company.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the charter of the Consolidated Gas, Electric Light
and Power Company of Baltimore, a corporation heretofore
duly formed by the consolidation of the Consolidated Gas Com-
pany of Baltimore City and the Consolidated Gas, Electric
Light and Power Company be and is hereby amended so as to
authorize and empower said company, and it is hereby author-
ized and empowered to fix the number of the directors thereof
by a by-law to be passed by said company at any number not
less than twelve and not more than twenty-five.
