SEC. 2.. And be it further enacted, That chapter 302 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1849, entitled An
Act to incorporate a Board of Trustees of the Churches and
Chapels of the Methodist Episcopal Church on Patapsco Cir-
cuit, in Howard and Carroll county, State of Maryland, be and
the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved April 1, 1908.
CHAPTER 227.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the Board of Police Commis-
sioners for the city of Baltimore to pay to Tobias Jacobs, a
former policeman of the Baltimore city police force, a pen-
sion of nine dollars per week.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of Police Commissioners for the city of
Baltimore be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
pay to Tobias Jacobs, a former policeman of the police force of
Baltimore city, out of the funds in their possession or subject to
thir control, a weekly pension of nine dollars ($9), payable
on the last day of each week.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its.passage.

CHAPTER 230.
AN ACT authorizing the successors of the board of trustees
created by the Act of 1849, chapter 349 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, to convey all the property
now held by said board of trustees to the trustees of the par-
sonage elected at the fourth quarterly conference of the Pa-
tapsco Circuit of the Methodist Episcopal Church, held on
February 17, 1908, and to repeal chapter 349 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of the Acts of 1849, en-
titled An Act to incorporate the Trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal Parsonage of Patapsco Circuit.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the trustees now exercising their power under and
by virtue of the Act of 1849, chapter 349, be and the same are
hereby authorized to convey all the real, personal and mixed
property now belonging to the board of trustees of the Metho-
