Maryland, certain Acts of the General Assembly of the session
of 1906, which were designated to be published in said paper.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 222.
AN ACT authorizing the successors of the board of trustees,
created by the Act of 1849, chapter 302 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, to convey all the property
now held by said board of trustees to the trustees of the re-
spective churches of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the
Patapsco Circuit, and to repeal chapter 302 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of the Acts of 1849, entitled
An Act to incorporate a Board of Trustees of the Churches
and Chapels of the Methodist' Episcopal Church on Patapsco
Circuit, in Howard and Carroll counties, State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the trustees now exercising their power under and
by virtue of the Act of 1849, chapter 302, be and the same are
hereby authorized to convey all the real, personal and mixed
property now belonging to the Board of Trustees of the
Churches and Chapels of the Methodist Episcopal Church on
Patapsco Circuit in Howard and Can-oil County, State of
Maryland, to the trustees from each of the respective churches
in the Patapsco Circuit, elected at the fourth quarterly confer-
ence of said circuit held on February 17, 1908, that is to say:
The trustees elected at said conference on February 17, 1908,
for St. James Methodist Episcopal Church, at Mt. View, How-
ard county, the trustees so elected for the Westwood Methodist
Episcopal Church at Gelenell, Howard county; the trustees so
elected for the McKendre Methodist Episcopal Church, near
Rover, Howard county; the trustees so elected for the Lisbon
Methodist Episcopal Church, Lisbon, Howard county; the trus-
tees so elected for St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church,
Sykesville, Carroll county; the trustees so elected for the Wes-
ley Chapel (Methodist Episcopal), Freedom, Carroll county;
the trustees so elected for the Oakland Methodist Episcopal
Church, Oakland, Carroll county; the trustees so elected for the
Mt. Pleasant Methodist Episcopal Church, Gamber, Carroll
county; and provided further, that the said trustees of the
aforesaid churches and chapels shall hold the same according
to the discipline now governing the conduct of the churches
of the Methodist Episcopal Church in this State.
