1200 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

the charter of the Eureka Mutual Aid Society of Baltimore, now
colled the Eureka Life Insurance Company of Baltimore City
by virtue of the Acts of 1904, chapter 113, a corporation duly
incorporated under the general laws of this State, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

SEC. 4. That upon producing proof to the Insurance Com-
missioner of the State of Maryland that the said corporation
has accumulated a reserve fund, as aforesaid, amounting to
at least the sum of one hundred thousand dollars, invested iD
the securities of the United States or the State of Maryland,
or of the city of Baltimore, which securities shall have been
deposited in the Treasury of the State in like manner as de-
posits are required from other insurance companies under sec-
tion 116 of article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws of
this State, the Insurance Commissioner's certificate whereof
may be filed and recorded among the corporation records of
Baltimore city, and the filing of the same shall be taken as
an acceptance of this Act by the said Eureka Life Insurance
Company of Baltimore City, said corporation shall have the
power to make all contracts whatsoever pertaining to the
business of life, health and accident insurance which are au-
thorized to be made by any other insurance company doing
business in this State; the respective rights and obligations of
said corporation and of the insured to be fully set out in
the policies or certificates to be issued by it; provided, how-
ever, that the said corporation shall at all times maintain
a sufficient reserve under the laws of Maryland for all the
policies issued by it which may be outstanding.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 55.

AN ACT to amend an Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at the January session, 1904, chapter one hun-
dred and thirty-nine, entitled An Act to incorporate the
Agriculturist Commercial Storage Company, so that the
corporate title of the said corporation shall hereafter be the
Baltimore Steamboat and Storage Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the first section of the Act passed at the January
session of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1904, chapter one
hundred and thirty-nine, entitled An Act to incorporate the
