matures, and to use the balance of the purchase money in im-
proving the streets of the said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne
be and they are hereby authorized to sell the water works sys-
tem now owned and operated by the town of Princess Anne at a
sum not less than ten thousand dollars, whenever a majority of
the male and female taxables upon the assessment books of said
town, both in numbers and in the amount of taxes paid by them,
shall file .with the said President and Commissioners of -Prin-
cess Anne, a petition in writing signed by them praying for such
a sale.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That in the event of such
sale the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne shall
use so much of the purchase money as may be necessary in
creating a sinking fund for the redemption of the bonded in-
debtedness of said town when the same matures, and shall use
the balance of said purchase money in improving the streets of
said town.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 43.

AN ACT to repeal section 213 as amended by chapter 370 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1902, and by
chapter 11 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1906 of article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Somerset County," sub-title "Revenue and
Taxes," relating to the division of Somerset county into col-
lection districts, and to enact the following in lieu thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 213 as the same was amended by chapter 370
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1902 and
by chapter 11 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1906 of
article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Somerset County," sub-title "Revenue and Taxes," relating to
the division of said Somerset county into collection districts, be
and the same is hereby repealed and the following section en-
acted in lieu thereof.

213. The county of Somerset shall be divided into three (3)
collection districts as follows: The first to be composed of East
Princess Anne, Westover, Dublin and Fairmount election dis-
