sufficient sum to pay the annual interest on said bonds then
outstanding, and also the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ;
said sum of one hundred and fifty dollars shall be deposited by
him at interest in the Annapolis Savings Institution as a sink-
ing fund for the redemption of said bonds at their maturity
twenty years after the date thereof, or when called for redemp-
tion by said corporation and 'the general provisions and require-
ments of section fourteen of said Act of 1896, shall be appli-
cable thereto.

SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That the Mayor, Counsellor

and directed
to pass laws.

and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis, the Board of School
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County and the Board of
County Commissioners of said county are hereby authorized
and directed, as provided in section fifteen, chapter 275 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1896, to pass
all necessary ordinances, orders and resolutions, and do all acts
necessary to carry into effect the objects and provisions of this
Act, and in case of failure or delay in selling said bonds, or
either of said isssues hereby authorized, at least at the par
value thereof, at public sale, then to borrow money respectively
at the current, banking rates therefor upon the note or notes
discounted, in the one case of said Board of School Commis-
sioners endorsed by paid Board of County Commissioners up
to the amount of six thousand dollars, and in the other case
upon the note or notes discounted of the said Mayor, Counsel-
lor and Aldermen, up to the amount of three thousand dollars,
and to pledge, if need be, their unsold bond issues respectively
as collateral security for any such note or notes.
SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That from the fund realized

from the issue and sale of bonds, herein authorized to be
issued, or from the money borrowed or notes discounted as
hereby authorized by the Board of County School Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County, the school examiner of Anne
Arundel county shall, upon the warrant of said building com-
mittee, issued in accordance with the provisions of this Act,
pay to the Hudson School Furniture Company, of. Athens,
Ohio, the sum of two thousand dollars in payment for furni-
ture heretofore supplied to the Annapolis public school build-
ing in furnishing the same.
SEC. 17. And be it enacted, That from the sale of bonds

of Anne Arundel county shall pay to Walter H. Schaeffer, the
