Sanction and
consent
given to
certain
bequests.

as a donation towards building a Roman Catholic Church for
colored people in that county.
Twenty -seventh. To the bequest contained in the last will
and testament of Winefride Martin, late of Baltimore city,
deceased, of the sum of one hundred dollars to the pastor for
the time being, of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, near
Waldorf, Charles county, Maryland, and the further sum of
one hundred dollars towards any improvements that may be
needed on his house or said church.
Twenty-eighth. To the bequest contained in the last will and
testament of Winefride Martin, late of Baltimore city, de-
ceased, to the respective pastors, for the time being, of the
Roman Catholic Churches of New Port, Cobb Neck and Pom-
fert, all located in Charles county, Maryland, the sum of one
hundred dollars each ; and to the pastor, for the time being, of
the Roman Catholic Church, located at Piscataway, Prince
George's county, the sum of one hundred dollars.
Twenty-nine. To the bequest contained in the last will and
testament of Winefride Martin, late of Baltimore city, de-
ceased, of the sum of two hundred dollars to the Most Reverned
gentlemen, who administered the last sacrament to Winefride
Martin.

Thirtieth. To the devise and bequest contained in the last
will and testament of Winefride Martin, late of Baltimore
city, deceased, of all the rest, residue and remainder of her
estate and property of every nature and kind, whether real or
mixed, wheresoever situated, which she died possessed of or in
any manner entitled to at the time of her death, to the Most
Reverned James Gibbons, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bal-
timore, for the time being, and his successors in the Archi-
episcopal See of Baltimore, according to the discipline and
government of the Roman Catholic Church, a corporation sole
absolutely.
Approved April 7, 1898.

AN ACT to repeal Sections forty-nine, fifty, fifty-two, fifty
eight, sixty-three, seventy-eight E and ninety-two of Article
one of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled
"Allegany County," sub-title "Cumberland," and to re-
enact with amendments Sections forty-nine, fifty, fifty-two,
fifty-eight, sixty-three and seventy-eight "B," and to add
