CHAPTER 119.
AN ACT to provide for the making of topographic maps and
for the publication of reports of the State Geological and
Economic Survey, and to make an appropriation therefor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mart/-

land, That the Commission established by the Act of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland at the session of 1896, chapter 51.
be and the same is hereby authorized to make provision foi
the completion of the topographic surrey of Maryland in such
manner as in the opinion of the Commission will be of the
greatest benefit to the agricultural, industrial, geological and
military requirements of the State of Maryland.

2. And be it further enacted, That the said Commission be

and the same is hereby authorized to publish special reportF
dealing with the various mineral products and with the natural
resources of each county of the State of Maryland.
SEC. 3. And for the purpose of carrying out the provisions
of this Act be it further enacted, that the sum of tive thou-

sand dollars annually, in addition to the amount appropriated
by the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland at the ses-
sion 1896, chapter 51, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in
the treasury not otherwise appropriated, and the said amount
be drawn from the treasury by the said Commission in the
same manner as the other funds of the survey.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 130.
AN ACT to lay out and establish a new election district in
Prince George's County, out of portion of District No. 3,
or Marlboro Election District, and Election District No. 6,
or Spalding's Election District, to be called Election District
No. 15, or Mellwood District.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
