in such notice the name of the claimant or person filing the
lien, the name of the owner or supposed owner of the build-
ing, and the name of the contractor, if any, at whose instance
the work was done, the amount claimed to be due, the locality
of the building against which the lien has been filed, such as a
building fronting on a named street in the city of Baltimore,
or such general description of locality as may appear to the
said sheriff to be sufficient; and the sheriff of Baltimore city
shall publish the said notice in two daily newspapers published
in the city of Baltimore, the first notice to be published at
least ten days before the return day of the writ, and shall con-
tinue the same once or twice or thrice a week as he may think
proper, the expense of publication in each newspaper not to
exceed five dollars.

30. In all cases where one claim has been filed by ojae per-
son for work done on distinct buildings, it shall be lawful to
issue one writ of scire facias to recover the same, which writ
shall specify the amount claimed on each ; and any party in
interest upon the return of said writ, may apply for and have
as many cases docketed as there are houses proceeded against,
and separate judgments shall be entered against each house,
and the same proceedings shall be had as if separate liens had
been filed.

36. If the proceeds of such building and ground shall not
be sufficient to pay the full amount of all debts due as afore-
said for work done, after deducting therefrom any prior liens
on the same, then such debts shall be averaged, and the said
creditors shall be paid in proportion to their respective de-
mands.

42. Nothing contained in this article shall be construed to
affect the right of any person to whom any debt may be due
for work done to maintain any personal action against the
owner of the building, or any other person liable therefor.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 503.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and Council
of Rockville to construct or acquire an Electric Plant for the
purpose of lighting the streets of Rockville and supplying
electric lights and power to the citizens thereof.
