rated under the laws of the State of Maryland.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That said body corporate shall be

or under the general laws of this State applicable to such cor-

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That said corporation is hereby

authorized and empowered to survey, locate, construct and
operate, by steam, electricity, compressed air or other motive
power, a railway of double or single track, with all the neces-
sary sidings, commencing at Denton, Caroline county, Mary-
land, on the Queen Anne's Railroad, or at a point within five
miles east of Denton on said railway, and extending thence
across said Caroline county in a southerly direction to Feder-
alsburg, or to a point within eight miles of Federalsburg, to a
junction with the Cambridge and Seaford Railway.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That said company be and is

hereby authorized for the purposes of acquiring rights of way
and land for the purposes of the construction of its railway,
and the location of its stations and depots, to receive the same
by deed of gift or bargain or sale, or to condemn said land or
rights of way, whether of corporation or individuals, under
and in accordance with the method of condemnation prescribed
in the Public General Laws relating to the condemnation of
land for the purposes of railway corporations ; and said cor-
poration shall have the power, subject to the approval of the
County Commissioners, and of the authorities in any town in
said counties, as the case may be, to use and occupy for the
purposes of the construction and maintenance of their said
railway, any public road in said county or any street, alley or
lane in any town in eaid counties.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the County Commission-
