CHAPTEE 427.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Howard
County to accept as a public road at its present width, the
road in the first election district of Howard county, called
The Lawyer's Hill Road."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Howard county
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to accept as
a public road at its present width, the road in the first election
district of Howard county, called "The Lawyer's Hill Road,"
which said road runs from the Montgomery road to a point on
the Washington branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad,
near the south end of the Thomas viaduct.

CHAPTER 428.
AN ACT further to amend an Act entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company,"
passed February thirteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company is

hereby authorized and empowered to acquire and hold the
stock and to lease the railways and franchises of other Balti-
more city or suburban railway companies, and use the said
railways in connection with the railways of said company.

AN ACT to repeal, amend and re-enact Section 614 of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," as-
amended by chapter 131 of the Acts passed at the January
session of 1896.
