Chapter 82.

AN ACT to repeal, amend and re-enact section
two of chapter three hundred and forty-seven
of the acts passed at the January session of
eighteen hundred and eighty-six, entitled ^;' An
act to repeal, amend and re-enact chapter one
hundred and twenty-four of the acts passed at
the January session of eighteen hundred and
eighty-four, relating to catching of terrapins
in the Patuxent river."

at the January session of eighteen hundred and
eighty-six, be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted to read as follows :
SEC. 2. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That on and after the passage of
this act it shall be lawful for the bona-fide citi-
zens of Calvert, St. Mary's and Charles counties
to catch terrapins in the waters of said counties
between the. first day of October in each and
every year, and the first day of May next suc-
ceeding.

Inconsistent
laws repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all laws or parts
thereof, inconsistent with this act, be and the
same are hereby repealed.

Effective.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
