Chapter 537.
AN ACT to add four sub-sections to section
two, chapter three hundred and fifty-eight, acts
of eighteen hundred and eighty-two, entitled
"An act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Employes' Relief Association."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the act of eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-two, chapter three hundred and
fifty-eight, entitled, "An act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Employes' Relief
Association," be and the same is hereby repealed.
SUB-SECTION A. That the committee of man-
agement of said Baltimore and Ohio Employes'
|
Repealed.

|
Relief Association, or the board of trustees of
said association shall not, under the provisions
of this act, adopt any by-laws or constitution
compelling any employe of said Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Company to become a member of
said relief association, nor shall the Baltimore
and Ohio Railroad Company prescribe any con-
ditions upon which its employes shall become
members of said association:

timore and Ohio Relief Association desiring to
withdraw from said association shall be entitled,
upon production of his receipt book, to receive at
least two-thirds of the total amount he has paid
in; provided, that all moneys he has received as
benefits be first deducted from the amount so
paid in.
SUB-SECTION C. That nothing in this act shall

be construed to allow the enactment of any rule,
agreement, by-laws or article of constitution by
the managers or trustees of said association to
relieve the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Com-
pany from any liability for damage done to any
member of said relief association.
SUB-SECTION D. That said board of managers

and trustees shall make a quarterly statement
of all its business to the insurance department
of the state, under oath, and shall be subject to
all the laws of the state governing other insur-
ance companies and relief associations; and the
insurance commissioner of the state shall have
