dred and fifty dollars ; and for the above ex-
penses of the legislature the sum of one hundred
and twenty thousand dollars, or so much thereof

Per diem of
officers and
members.

as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated;
for the printing of the general assembly of eigh-
teen hundred and ninety, eighteen thousand and
five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary ; for binding the laws, journals and
documents' of said session of the general assem-
bly three thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary ; for indexing the journal
and documents of the senate and house of dele-
gates, seven hundred dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary ; for indexing the laws,
three hundred and fifty dollars, or so much
thereof as may necessary ; to the secretary of
the senate and chief clerk of the house of dele-
gates, for copying and arranging for publica-
tion the laws of said session, three hundred dol-
lars each, six hundred dollars ; and for salaries
during the recess of the legislature, three hun-
dred dollars each, six hundred dollars ; to the
clerk of the court of appeals for recording the
laws of the general assembly of eighteen hun-
dred and ninety, four hundred and fifty dollars.
PUBLIC DEBT.

Payment of
interest on
public debt.
|
For the payment of the interest on the public
debt of the state, including the cost of exchange
remittance and commissions for so much thereof
as is payable in London, five hundred and
seventy-five thousand dollars, or so much there-
of as may be necessary.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the treasurer

shall disburse.

of the state shall, on the warrant of the comptrol-
ler, disburse the said sum or sums of money herein
appropriated, for the objects and purposes herein
specified, to or upon the order of the person or
persons, or bodies politic or corporate, entitled
to receive the same.

Effective.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the first day of Octo-
ber, eighteen hundred and eighty-nine.
