the summons to the tenant, twenty-five cents; for
docket fee, twenty-five cents; for trial fee, fifty
cents, and ten cents additional for every wit-
ness sworn or examined; for preparing the bond
and the warrant for re-entry (in case it be is-
sued) twenty-five cents; to the constable for
serving the summons, twenty-five cents; for exe-
cuting the warrant for re-entry (in case it be
issued), one dollar;" and no other fee or allow-
ance shall be charged or demanded by said jus-
tice of the peace or constable for or on account
of the services to be performed under this act.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall

not apply to any leases or contract heretofore
made and now in force, in which the remedy by
distress is expressly granted or reserved; neither
shall this act be construed to prevent or con-
clude, or interfere in any manner with any other
proceeding or action (not an action of distress),
undertaken or to be undertaken or prosecuted
by said lessor, to recover any rent due by said
tenant for the premises so had or sought to be
had again and repossessed as aforesaid.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts
of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this
act be and the same are hereby repealed so far
as they apply to the city of Baltimore.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect upon its passage.
