Chapter 66.

AN ACT to repeal section two and ten of chapter
three hundred and thirteen of the acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of eighteen
hundred and seventy, entitled "An act to in-
corporate the town of Sudlersville, in Queen
Anne's county," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That section two and ten of
the acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of eighteen hundred and seventy, entitled "An
act to incorporate the town of Sudlersville in
Queen Anne's county," be repealed and re-en-
acted to read as follows :
SEC. 2. That all persons entitled to vote for

and who have resided within the corporate
limits of said town of Sudlersville for six months
preceding an election of town commissioners, or
who hold taxable property in said town and pay

their duty to order the arrest of any person
found breaking the peace or disturbing the quiet
and order of said town, or violating any of the
ordinances made by the commissioners for se-
curing the safety of the property or lives of the

to require any person so offending to give
security to keep the peace, or in default thereof,
may commit such person to the county jail for
not more than forty-eight hours, and in addition
