pealed and re-enacted by chapter ninety-two-
of the acts of eighteen hundred and seventy,
as repealed and re-enacted by chapter four
hundred and sixty-two of the acts of eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, as repealed and re-
enacted by the acts of eighteen hundred and
eighty-four, chapter three hundred and forty-
five, as repealed and re-enacted by chapter
fifty-two of the acts of eighteen hundred and
eighty-six, title "Mechanics Lien," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so
as to read as follows :

SECTION FORTY-THREE. The provisions of the
preceding section shall not apply to Charles
county.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 65.

AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an
additional notary public of the State of Mary-
land in and for the town of Rising Sun, in the
sixth election district of Cecil county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

sembly of Maryland, That an additional notary
public shall be appointed by the governor of
this state in the manner provided by law for the
appointment of notaries public in this state, in
and for the town of Rising Sun, in the sixth
election district of Cecil county, whose term of
office shall begin on the same day as that of
other notaries public of said county.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
