day of July in every year, to determine for the
purpose of assessment, as aforesaid, the fair
valuation of every lot in Mountain Lake Park
to which this act is applicable, with the improve-
ments thereon; but not, however, including the
improved property belonging to the Mountain
Lake Park Association, of Garrett county, which
is used for the common good or the general pur-
poses of said community or of said association,
all of which property and improvements shall
be exempt from valuation and assessment
as aforesaid; and provided, that the unim-
proved property belonging to the said Moun-
tain Lake Park Association shall be valued
and assessed only at the proper value as unim-

proved property, and to post a fair copy of said
valuation, when completed, at some conspicuous
place at or near the office or main entrance to
the auditorium grounds aforesaid for public in-
spection ; and at all convenient seasons to have
a fair copy of said valuation for the inspection
of lotholders at some designated place in
Mountain Lake Park, in Garrett county afore-
said, under the custody of some duly appointed
person.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted. That the said assess-
ment shall be due and payable at the expiration
of one month from the date of posting the copy

piration of fifteen days after the annual meet-
ing then next ensuing, in case said fair copy
of said valuation shall have been so. posted, as
aforesaid, more than fifteen days before the
date of said annual meeting ; and any lot-
holder feeling himself aggrieved by such valua-
tion may, within the time aforesaid, file his
objections with any one of said annual com-
mittee of the Community of Mountain Lake
Park, or with said duly appointed person in
whose custody the fair copy of said valuation
shall be as aforesaid, and obtain such modifica-
tion of such valuation as shall to said annual
committee seem just and right. If no ob-
jections shall be filed as aforesaid, or if
said objections shall be by said annual
committee overruled, the said valuation, or
