SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That any person filing
or attempting to file as his own the diploma

or certificate of another, or a forged diploma
or forged affidavit of identification, shall be
deemed guilty of the crime of forgery, and on
being convicted thereof shall be punished by
imprisonment in the penitentiary or house of
correction, at the discretion of the court, for
not less than two years, or by a fine of not less
than two hundred dollars nor more than five
hundred dollars, or both in the discretion of
the court.

Effective.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

WHEREAS The Mountain Lake Park Associa-

tion of Garrett county is a corporation, duly in-
corporated by certificate recorded in the office of
the clerk of the circuit court for Garrett county,
in chartered corporation record book, number
one, folio sixty-five, etc., which charter was
amended by acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of eighteen hundred and eighty-two,
chapter one hundred and sixty-four, and of
eighteen hundred and eighty-four, chapters forty-
six and three hundred and fifty-six ; and where-
as the said corporation and certain lot-holders,
to whom it has conveyed land, are desirous of
having certain powers conferred upon it and
them jointly, for the better improvement and
preservation of all the land, both that so con-
veyed and that remaining unsold and belonging
to said corporation, and for the fulfillment of the
objects for which said corporation was incor-
porated.

Incorporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the persons who are
hereinafter designated as qualified to vote at the
