		Chapter 61. AN ACT to amend the charter of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Kent county so as to change the manner of becoming a mem- ber of said company and of withdrawing there- from, and the time of the annual meetings, and the manner of calling special meetings, and of providing for the payment of losses, and to extend the said charter as amended to the first day of July, in the year nineteen hundred and forty. WHEREAS it is represented to this general assembly that the members of the Mutual Fire

Insurance Company of Kent county, at a meet- ing duly called in accordance with the eighth section of its charter, determined that it is desirable for the company, and the community, to have the charter of the company extended to the first day of July, in the year nineteen hun- dred and forty, with the following amendments ; therefore, SECTION 1.
