deemed and held to be transferred to the said
George's Creek and Cumberland railroad com-
pany; and the said George's Creek and Cumber-
land railroad company shall hold, use and enjoy
the same, with all the rights and privileges
attaching or belonging thereto, in the same full
and ample manner as the said Pennsylvania
railroad company in Maryland holds, uses and
enjoys the same under and by virtue of its

charter and the amendments thereto ; provided,
that all liens existing upon the property or
rights of either of said corporations shall be
preserved and remain in full force against said
property and rights respectively, and that the
said George's Creek and Cumberland railroad
company shall fulfill all engagements and con-
tracts of said Pennsylvania railroad company in
Maryland.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this
act shall take effect from and after the date of
its passage.

Chapter 385.

AN ACT to establish lines at the mouth of
certain tributaries of Choptank river, in Tal-
bot county, for the purpose of defining more
definitely the oyster grounds in the Choptank
river in which scraping shall be allowed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That for the purpose of more

definitely defining the lines for scraping oysters
in the Choptank river, in Talbot county, the fol-
lowing lines shall be construed as the mouths
of tributaries, to wit : Beginning at Jackson
Point at the north end of Tilghman Island, and
running thence to Long or Nelson Point, which
line shall be construed as defining the mouth of
Harris creek ; thence from said Long or Nelson
Point to the south end of Royston's Island, and
thence in a straight line to Benoine's Point,
