number nine hundred and fifty-eight, folio one
hundred and twenty-three, &c. , was granted
and assigned by Henry W. Rogers, adminis-

trator, to the said body corporate; and to the
purchase by it of the fee simple interest in the
same lot of ground, by deed, from William A.
Stewart and wife to the said body corporate,
dated the seventh day of December, eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, and. recorded among
the land records of Baltimore city, in liber
R. T. A., number nine hundred and fifty-eight,
folio one hundred and twenty-four; and to the
purchase by it of those two other lots of ground
in the city of Baltimore, the one at the south-
east corner of Eastern avenue and Bethel street,
being in fee simple, which, by deed dated
twenty-ninth day of August, in the year
eighteen hundred and sixty, and recorded
among the land records of Baltimore city, in
liber G. E. S., number one hundred and ninety-
six, folio sixteen, &c., was conveyed by James
Frazier to said corporation ; and the other being
leasehold, on the east side of Bethel street,
which, by deed dated sixteenth day of January,
in the year eighteen hundred and sixty, and
recorded among the land records of Baltimore
city, in liber G. E. S., number one hundred and
ninety-six, folio fifteen, &c., was assigned by
Sarah A. Walker to the said body corporate.

granted.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
