Chapter 307.

AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for
the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer at or near Messrs. Brigham, Hop-
kins and Company's hat factory, in Baltimore
county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

for the clerk of the circuit court to issue license
to any person or persons to sell spirituous or fer-
mented liquors or lager beer at Messrs. Brigham,
Hopkins and Company's hat factory, situated
in Saint Denis, Baltimore county, or at any
place within one mile thereof.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
Approved March 81, 1888.

Chapter 308.

AN ACT giving the leave and sanction of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the acqui-
sition of the fee and leasehold interest in and
to certain pieces of ground in Baltimore city
by the trustees of the "Methodist Episcopal
Church in the East Baltimore Station," a body
corporate under the laws of the State of
Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That leave and sanction of the

General Assembly of Maryland is hereby given
to the purchase by the "Trustees of the Meth-
odist Episcopal Church in the East Baltimore
Station," a body corporate under the laws of
the State of Maryland, of the leasehold interest
in and to the lot of ground situate at the north-
east corner of Eastern avenue and Bethel street,
in Baltimore city, which by assignment, dated
the twelfth day of January, eighteen hundred
and eighty-three, and duly recorded among the
