Shall file writ-
ten affidavit.

son shall file a written affidavit, sworn to before
said clerk, that said applicant has bona fide, and
without intending to evade the spirit and mean-
ing of this act, duly provided, and will at all
times during the continuance of said license,
maintain and keep for use at least three cham-
bers more than are needed for such person's own
private or family purposes, for the reception of
guests or permanent or transient boarders, and
at least four beds with sufficient covering there-
for, and stabling for at least six horses, and that
said chambers and beds are and shall remain
upon the said premises on which spirituous or
fermented liquors are by this act licensed to be
sold, and in which shall be stated the name and
residence of the applicant, and the location of the
premises on which the business is to be con-
ducted, with name or names of the owner or
owners thereof, and that said applicant has not
been convicted of a violation of any of the pro-
visions of this act.
SEC. 152. No license to sell spirituous or fer-

mented liquors in Harford county shall be
granted to any applicant who has complied with
the preceding sections of this act until said ap-
plicant shall have paid to the clerk of the circuit
court for Harford county the sum of three hun-
dred and fifty dollars, and the further sum of five
dollars for approving and filing the said bond
and other papers and for his other costs and
charges in issuing the said license, and which
said sum of three hundred and fifty dollars the
said clerk shall pay over to the county commis-
sioners of Harford county within thirty days
after it has been received by him, without any
abatement or deduction whatever ; and said
county commissioners shall apply all sums so
received by them to the improvement and benefit

Harford county, and to no other purpose.
SEC. 153. Every person having complied with
