sembly of Maryland, That section twenty-two of
article forty-eight of the Code of Public General
Laws be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted so as to read as follows :
22. The provisions of this article shall not be
construed to apply to, or in any manner release,
discharge, or affect any judgment recovered by
civil action for injuries occasioned by the seduc-
tion of any female, nor apply to, or in any
manner release, discharge, or affect any judg-
ment recovered by civil action for damages for
defaming any female.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to change the name of Wetipquin
creek, in Wicomico county, to Wetipquin
"harbor."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the name of Wetip-
quin creek, in Wicomico county, is hereby
changed to Wetipquin "harbor."
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
