the portion of said property so used and occu-
pied as a church, as well as ,the said church
itself, and to amend and enlarge its powers so
as to confer said right, and sanction the use of
the said property by the said body corporate for
the purposes of the said church.
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That "The Associated Profes-
sors of Loyola College in the city of Baltimore,"
a corporation duly incorporated as above set
forth, shall, in addition to the powers and rights
heretofore conferred upon it by the two acts to
which this is supplemental, be authorized and
enabled to have, hold, use, occupy, manage and
conduct the portion of the lot of ground de-
scribed in the above mentioned deeds and im-
proved by the said church, and also the said
church edifice or house of worship itself, and
that the said charter be so enlarged as to confer
the said right upon the said body corporate, and
that the sanction and consent of the general as-
sembly be given to the said holding, conduct-
ing and user by the said body corporate of
the said property and church for the purposes
of a church or house of worship.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the

said body corporate shall have the same right to
sell, mortgage, convey, or otherwise dispose of
the said property, and have all the powers in
connection therewith, as are conferred upon it
by the said acts of assembly in regard to prop-
erty authorized to be acquired by it under its
present charter, and supplement as an educa-
tional institution or corporation, and that it may,
for the purposes of said church, and as a cor-
poration having the care of said church, take,
hold and receive by gift, grant, devise or bequest,
any property, real, personal and mixed, as fully
and to the same extent as it is authorized to do
as an educational institution or corporation un-
der its present charter and supplement.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
