Chapter 166.

AN ACT to give the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the purchase of the
leasehold interest in a lot of ground on east
Baltimore street, near Broadway, in the City
of Baltimore, by the trustees of the Broadway
Presbyterian Church in the City of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland is hereby given to
the purchase by the trustees of the Broadway
Presbyterian Church in the City of Baltimore, a
body corporate under the laws of the State of
Maryland, of the leasehold interest in and to that
lot of ground on east Baltimore street, near
Broadway, in the City of Baltimore, which, by
deed of assignment dated the nineteenth day of
March, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, and
duly recorded among the land records of Balti-
more city, liber J. B., No. 1132, folio 518, etc.,
was granted by Mary Mohler and Barbara A.
Mohler to said corporation.

Sanction given

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 31, 1888.

Chapter 167.

AN ACT to incorporate the town of Delmar, in
Wicomico county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

bly of Maryland, That the inhabitants of the
town of Delmar, in Wicomico county, Maryland,
be and they are hereby created a body corporate
by the name of "The Commissioners of Delmar,"
with all the powers and privileges of a body
politic and corporate, and by said corporate
name may have perpetual succession, sue and be
sued, plead and be impleaded, in any court of
law or equity, and have and use a common seal
