		Chapter 147. AN ACT directing the comptroller to ascertain and pay the cost of printing and binding the Code of Public General and Public Local Laws and accompanying papers submitted to the general assembly by John Prentis Poe, in pur- suance of the act of eighteen hundred and eighty-six, chapter three hundred and two, and appropriating a sum not exceeding six thousand five hundred dollars therefor. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
	Audit and ad- just claim.	sembly of Maryland, That the comptroller be and he is hereby authorized and directed to audit and adjust the claim of John Prentis Poe, against this state, for the cost of printing and binding the Code of Public General and Public Local Laws of this state, and other documents submitted by him to this general assembly in pursuance of the act of eighteen hundred and eighty-six, chapter three hundred and two, en- titled "An act to provide for the preparation of a Code of Public General and Public Local Laws
	Draw warrant in whose favor	of this state," and to draw his warrant upon the treasurer in favor of said John Prentis Poe, for such amount not exceeding six thousand five hundred dollars, as he shall so ascertain to be due for said printing and binding, which said sum so ascertained by him to be due, is hereby appropriated for such payment out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appro- priated.
	Effective.	SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved March 29, 1888.
